The nearest railway station is in St. Georgen im Attergau, just a few minutes’ walk from the Hotel Winzer. Other easily accessible stations include Vöcklamarkt (ideal for guests travelling from the west) and Vöcklabruck, which offers convenient connections from all over Austria.

Travelling by car
Travelling from the west
From Munich, head towards Salzburg via the A1 towards Vienna. Around 45 kilometres past Salzburg, take the St. Georgen im Attergau exit and turn right. Then follow the signs for Hipping/Kogl through three consecutive roundabouts – from there, the signposts will lead you directly to the Wellnesshotel Winzer.
Travelling from the east
From Vienna, follow the A1 towards Salzburg. After passing Amstetten and Linz, take the St. Georgen im Attergau exit and turn right towards St. Georgen. Go through the next three roundabouts, following the signs for Hipping/Kogl at each one – from there, the signposts will lead you directly to the Wellnesshotel Winzer.
Travelling by plane
For those travelling by air, we recommend Salzburg Airport. From there, it takes about 45 minutes to reach the Hotel Winzer.
Travelling by taxi
To ensure a comfortable onward journey, local taxi companies are at your disposal: Taxi Marek (+43 664 80560666) and Taxi Gschwendtner (+43 7672 95999) will be happy to collect you from any nearby station and take you directly to the Hotel Winzer. To ensure everything runs smoothly, please book your taxi in advance.

How far is Lake Attersee from the hotel?
Lake Attersee is only about 6 km from the Hotel Winzer.
Can I park for free at Hotel Winzer?
Yes, one free, CCTV-monitored underground parking space is available per room for the entire duration of your stay (please place the parking permit in a clearly visible position behind the windscreen). Additional parking spaces can be booked for an extra charge. There are also two electric vehicle charging points available in the open-air car park in front of the hotel. You can collect the charging card to activate the charging point from reception.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Your room will be ready for you by 3.30 pm at the latest on the day of arrival. If you wish to arrive earlier, you are welcome to use the entire wellness area free of charge from 1.00 pm – including the afternoon buffet. Until you check in, you will receive a bathrobe, a bath bag with sauna towels and a locker key (subject to a €30 deposit) from reception.
On the day of departure, we ask that you vacate your room by 10.30 am. You can continue to enjoy the wellness area until 2.00 pm – including the afternoon buffet.
