Romance under the open sky at the Winzer

Bright moments with sun and stars
Sun-kissed hours
At Hotel Winzer, romance isn’t just for indoors – it unfolds under the open sky from sunrise to starlit night. In summer weather, the hotel garden offers undisturbed moments in the sun for two. On comfortable sun loungers, gently rocking cosy nests or snug floating loungers, you can relax and gaze out at the greenery whilst the sun’s rays warm your skin. A refreshing dip in the natural pool or a bubbling soak in the hot tub offers a welcome change. Those who prefer exclusivity will find sublime summer sensations on the sun deck on the fifth floor. With panoramic views over the Attergau, you can relax there in the hot tub, on sun loungers or at the Sky Bar. Perfect for intimate moments in the sunlight. One floor higher, in the nudist area, you can enjoy sunbathing without a stitch of clothing.
Heavenly culinary delights
The outdoor area at the Winzer also shows its best side when it comes to cuisine: breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun, the afternoon buffet in the shade of the parasols, or an aperitif before dinner as the sun sets – always a delight when the weather is right. But dinner at the Hotel Winzer is something to look forward to in particular. You will be warmly welcomed to the “SinnReich” restaurant for a candlelit dinner. A heavenly treat awaits you, presented with great attention to detail. Flickering candlelight, attentive service, exquisite menus and the festive atmosphere ensure a special experience for two. Those wishing to create truly special memories can also combine this evening’s culinary delight with a little romantic surprise – such as a marriage proposal.
In love under the starlight
After a fulfilling day, the clear sky above the Salzkammergut invites you to gaze romantically at the stars. Perhaps with a glass of wine on the balcony, the terrace or in the garden? In the region, numerous celestial bodies are visible to the naked eye when the visibility is good. On clear new moon nights, the Milky Way is visible as a glowing band across the sky. Easy to spot are the brightly shining Venus (the Evening Star), the three twinkling stars of Orion’s Belt, or distinctive constellations such as the Big and Little Dipper or Cassiopeia. There are now even dedicated apps to help identify the constellations. However, we recommend putting your mobile phone away at times like these. For it is only by giving your full attention to the moment that the magic can unfold. With a bit of luck, you might even catch a shooting star as it burns up. Then make a wish quickly – it might just come true!
