Ingredients (serves 6):
Dough
- 250g quark (40% fat)
- A pinch of salt, vanilla
- 1 egg
- 80g wheat semolina
- 80g plain flour
- 60g softened butter
- 12 Mozartkugeln
Breadcrumbs
- 250g breadcrumbs
- 150g caster sugar
- 120g butter
Toast all the ingredients in a pan until golden brown
Method
- Quickly mix all the ingredients except the butter into a smooth dough
- Then briefly stir in the butter
- Chill for approx. 2 hours
- Divide into 12 equal portions
- Work in the unwrapped Mozartkugeln and seal the dough well
- Simmer gently in lightly salted water for approx. 6 minutes
- Remove and roll in the prepared breadcrumbs
Serving suggestion
Icing sugar, fresh berries, caramel lattice, mint leaves
