As the temperature rises, so does our longing for water and swimming in the sunshine. Anyone booking a stay at Hotel Winzer can pack their swimming trunks and bikini straight away, because here you can enjoy the pleasures of swimming not only indoors but also in the open air. A highlight for swimming is our natural pool in the hotel garden. The swimming pond and the adjoining outdoor whirlpool invite you to relax. Our summer tip is the sun deck with two whirlpools. There are plenty of cosy loungers for couples up here, and the view over the Attergau is magnificent! For those who like to let their hair down in the water, we recommend the nudist whirlpool on the sixth floor. Here, too, you can enjoy beautiful views over St. Georgen. And if it’s not quite so warm, you can still experience that summer feeling here: on the sun terrace of the Sole Spa in our outdoor pool. This features a whirlpool bench and its own pool bar! And then there’s always the option of a trip to the Attersee. This is just a few minutes’ drive or cycle ride from the Hotel Winzer and offers wonderful lake water of drinking quality.

As well as the numerous swimming facilities on-site, there are plenty of other ways to enjoy the sunshine here. For example, in our hotel garden. Here on the spacious sunbathing lawn, elegant and comfortable sun loungers, hammocks and floating loungers await sun-seekers. Numerous parasols ensure that enjoying the open air remains as pleasant as possible, even in hot weather. What’s more, it’s a wonderful place to dine, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner from the exquisite Winzer cuisine. The sun deck with Sky Bar on the fifth floor treats guests to fine outdoor furniture, refreshing drinks and the best views. On the panoramic terrace, numerous cosy couple’s loungers ensure unforgettable moments under the open sky.

Out into the sunshine

There is also plenty to discover around the Hotel Winzer when the sun is shining. The best way to explore the wonderful landscape of the Salzkammergut is by bike or e-bike. Both can be easily hired at reception. And if you’d like to get up close and personal with nature on your trip into the countryside, you can book a Winzer picnic basket to go with it!
