🔥 Flamaroo – tropical and creamy with a wow factor
The Flamaroo is one of our favourite cocktails! Why? It combines tropical flavours into a creamy, exotic shake and looks absolutely stunning too. It’s served without ice to concentrate the flavours. The highlight is the aromatic smoke bubble with a pineapple or vanilla scent – a truly spectacular drink that will leave everyone wide-eyed!
Ingredients:
- 30 ml white rum
- 30 ml vodka
- 10 ml Galliano Vanilla
- 20 ml coconut syrup
- 20 ml orange juice
- 40 ml pineapple juice
Method:
Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice. Then strain into a pre-chilled cocktail glass without the ice. The drink is served neat – without ice, so that the flavours are concentrated. Finally, place the aroma smoke bubble on top of the drink – for that special show-stopping moment when serving.
Tip: For the smoke bubble, it’s best to use a bubble smoker with a fruity flavour such as pineapple or vanilla.
🍸 French 75 – an elegant classic with a sparkling twist
The French 75 is a timeless cocktail that combines elegance and freshness. With gin and champagne as its base, it offers a sparkling refreshment with a touch of luxury. The drink was originally created in 1915 at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris and named after the French 75mm field gun, as its effect was considered just as striking. However, the recipe has been tweaked over time to enhance the flavour.
Ingredients:
- 40 ml gin (e.g. Beefeater)
- 20 ml fresh lemon juice
- 20 ml cane sugar syrup
- Champagne to top up
- Lemon zest for garnish
Method:
Place all ingredients (except the champagne) in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice (classic: coupette or highball). Top up with well-chilled champagne. Garnish with a twist of lemon and serve immediately.
Tip: If you prefer it a little drier, reduce the syrup slightly or use an Extra Brut champagne.
🐉 Lovely Dragon – refreshing, floral & alcohol-free
The Lovely Dragon contains no alcohol at all and impresses with its colourful appearance and an exotic, floral flavour combination. The use of dragon fruit not only gives the drink a vibrant colour but also a mildly sweet flavour, harmoniously complemented by jasmine green tea and mint. Served over crushed ice and optionally garnished with mint or a slice of dragon fruit, it is a light and refreshing companion for hot days.
Ingredients:
- 80 ml dragon fruit juice
- 60 ml cold jasmine green tea
- 15 ml fresh lime juice
- 5 ml agave syrup
- 3–4 fresh mint leaves
- Crushed ice
Method:
Lightly crush the mint leaves and place them in a long drink glass together with the remaining ingredients. Fill with crushed ice and then ‘swizzle’ vigorously with a swizzle stick or long spoon until the glass becomes slightly misted. Optionally garnish with a sprig of mint or a slice of dragon fruit.
Tip: If you steep the jasmine green tea as a cold brew in cold water for several hours, this prevents bitterness and allows the delicate jasmine aromas to come through perfectly.
