Enjoy the sunshine whilst snuggling up

Summer and sunshine right here in the hotel

You can also enjoy summer right here in the hotel. And in many different ways. Our hotel garden is the heart of our outdoor facilities. Here on the sunbathing lawn, comfortable sun loungers, hammocks and floating loungers await sun-worshippers. If the sun gets too hot, one of the numerous parasols provides welcome shade. You can also enjoy a wonderful meal here, whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our natural pool is located at the end of the hotel garden. From the wooden terrace, you can either jump into the natural pool or relax in the hot tub next door. That summer feeling is also in the air on the sun terrace of the Sole Spa and by our outdoor pool. This was built in 2016 and is filled with water at 32 degrees. A pleasant experience, even when the weather isn’t quite so warm. A whirlpool bench provides a gentle water massage, and at the pool bar you can sip delicious cocktails whilst completely unwinding. Our insider tip is the 500 m² sun deck with a whirlpool. There are plenty of cosy loungers for couples up here, and the view over the Attergau is magnificent!

Summer highlights near Hotel Winzer

Our region naturally offers a wealth of leisure activities in summer. The easiest way to explore is on foot, starting right from the hotel door. Our hotel is situated directly on the Kelten.Baum.Weg, an award-winning themed trail that takes hikers back to the Celtic era via numerous stops. You can also hire mountain bikes at reception for a ride into the countryside, complete with a picnic basket. Alternatively, your trip could take you to one of the Salzkammergut’s many lakes. It’s just six kilometres from Hotel Winzer to Lake Attersee, and the other lakes are not far either. The mountains aren’t far either! The Salzkammergut is blessed with beautiful peaks and lovely hiking routes. We can offer hiking tips or recommend a ride on the historic Schafbergbahn.
